The National Duals Invitational announced its top four seeds on Thursday for the 16-team tournament on Dec. 12 and 13 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Top 4 Seeds

  1. Oklahoma State
  2. Virginia Tech
  3. Ohio State
  4. Stanford

The tournament's seeding committee ranked the teams based on 2026-27 season projections and national rankings. Each of the top four will be placed in its own quadrant of the bracket, and the remaining 12 teams will be drawn at random.

Potential Semifinals

If the seeds hold, the semifinals would be Oklahoma State vs. Stanford and Ohio State vs. Virginia Tech.

Oklahoma State vs. Stanford would feature a battle of returning NCAA champions at 149: Oklahoma State's Sergio Vega, ranked #2 by InterMat, and Stanford's Aden Valencia, ranked #3. Vega won his NCAA title as a freshman at 141 last March, and Valencia won at 149.

Ohio State is the defending champion. The Buckeyes won the inaugural National Duals Invitational in 2025.

The Field and the Prize Money

The 16-team field: Arizona State, Little Rock, Iowa State, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Stanford, Virginia Tech and Wyoming.
