Oklahoma State opens its 2026-27 season on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Cowboy Invitational (sponsored by OnCue) inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowboys are joined by Gardner-Webb, SIU Edwardsville and Little Rock, but the real intrigue is inside the OSU room, where several weights have multiple Cowboys entered.
The event will not be streamed, so the only way to see it is in person. Rankings below are InterMat's latest.
Oklahoma State Entries by Weight
- 125: Rocklin Zinkin
- 133: #1 Jax Forrest, Sam Smith
- 141: Tagen Jamison, Jayden Raney, Cael Hughes, Ronnie Ramirez, Jake Hamiti
- 149: #2 Sergio Vega, Jordyn Raney, Beau Hickman
- 157: #1 Landon Robideau, Cutter Sheets, Kolter Burton
- 165: #5 Dee Lockett, Casey Swiderski, Kody Routledge, Ishmael Guerrero

- 285: Dreshaun Ross, Kruz Goff
Storylines to Watch
Dreshaun Ross looks ready to go, with Konner Doucet in Kazakhstan. The heavyweight entry is one of the biggest storylines of the weekend. Freshman Dreshaun Ross is on the list and appears healthy and ready to compete, while #1 Konner Doucet isn't entered. Doucet is in Astana, Kazakhstan, as a training partner for Wyatt Hendrickson, the former Oklahoma State NCAA champion wrestling 125kg for Team USA at the Senior World Championships. Kruz Goff is the other OSU heavyweight.
No Spratley at 125. #7 Troy Spratley isn't entered either, leaving true freshman Rocklin Zinkin, the 2025 Super 32 champion at 120, as the only Cowboy at the weight.
141 is the most crowded weight. Five Cowboys are entered, including freshman Jayden Raney, so 141 could go a long way toward sorting out who gets the spot.
174 has three Cowboys. #14 Lorenzo Norman, Alex Facundo and Ethan Teague are all entered, which sets up one of the most interesting wrestle-off situations on the card.
Jax Forrest is back. The #1 wrestler at 133 competes for the first time since June. Gardner-Webb's #9 TK Davis, who is set to wrestle in the NWCA All-Star Classic later this month, is in the same bracket.
A possible top-three matchup at 197. #2 Cody Merrill and Little Rock's #3 Stephen Little are both entered.
The Raney brothers. Jayden Raney is entered at 141 and Jordyn Raney at 149, behind #2 Sergio Vega.
